The Joomla content management system has now been downloaded a total of 15 million times, it has been reported. Developer Elin Waring made the announcement on the Joomla blog, noting that the landmark download was made in early February. Highlighting the rapidly growing popularity of the web publishing tool, she explained that the ten millionth version was only downloaded 250 days previously. This means that 20,000 people per day have adopted Joomla CMS over the last year, Ms Waring added.
